Το Rebel Dykes είναι ένα ανατρεπτικό ντοκιμαντέρ με φόντο το ποστ-πανκ Λονδίνο της δεκαετίας του ’80 και θέμα την μέχρι πρόσφατα αποσιωπημένη ιστορία μιας κοινότητας λεσβιών που τις ενδιέφερε η τέχνη, η μουσική, η πολιτική, το σεξ και το να αλλάξουν τον κόσμο τους. Θέτοντας ζητήματα κινκ και ηδονισμού, μόδας, μουσικής, ναρκωτικών, νυχτερινής ζωής, καθώς και πολιτικού ακτιβισμού, τρανς δικαιωμάτων και μαύρων κουήρ ζωών, το Rebel Dykes δίνει χώρο σε γυναικείες, μη-δυαδικές και τρανς φωνές, τόσο μπροστά όσο και πίσω από τις κάμερες.

Rebel Dykes is a rabble-rousing documentary set in 1980s post-punk London about the unheard story of a community of dykes who met doing art, music, politics and sex and how they went on to change their world. Touching on themes of kink and hedonism, fashion, music, drugs and nightlife, as well as political activism, trans rights and black queer life, Rebel Dykes centres female, non-binary and trans voices both front and backstage.
